Lost

"Not until we are lost do we begin to understand ourselves."
Henry David Thoreau

Good morning ladies and gents. I hope you are all having a wonderful day so far. So lets talk just a bit before this entry. I know I haven't been posting as often as usual. With the holidays fast approaching I have been running around with a chicken with its head cut off. And I hate to say it but things will most likely be this way until the holidays past. BUT! I will try to get you all a blog post at least once a week.

So I decided I would take a drive in SL down good ol' Route 66 only to find myself stranded in some broken down ghost town. The whole time I wandered about this town I didn't see a soul. You know i'm always up for an adventure. This one however was a bit eerie. As I walked down the long stretch of highway before finally seeing a building in the distance. Hoping to find a clerk or someone in general to get some help. The gas station had a garage attached and I thought to myself. Well how lucky am I just what I need someone to fix my car. NOPE! guess I was wrong unless a ghost would be doing it. As I wandered around in the ghostly store I tried the phones. DEAD! I checked the lines making sure everything was hooked up correctly. It all was but the line was dead. So I walked back out into the now setting sun to see what else I could find remembering I had seen a pay phone to the side of the attached garage. As I approached I began digging into my pockets to find some change to make a call. Pulling out 50 cents I let out a sigh of relief. First I picked up the phone an placed it to my ear. *TONE* finally getting excited I dropped in my coins and proceeded to call Maddie to come and rescue me. Once off the phone as the sun was quickly setting I hurried back to my car and locked the doors until she had made it there to get me.

Okay so lets talk about this Route 66 Sim. The name of it is Mother Road - Mirage Motel 66. Now i'm pretty sure they just call it the Mother Road. But......you know me and I like to be thorough just in case. Now this place was amazingly set up and decorated. it wasn't over bearing with dead trees and cactus. OR buildings as far as the eye could see but looked like the PERFECT ghost town along good ol forgotten route 66. It captures the sad but oh to real truth about this once glamorous stretch of highway. I highly recommend this place to anyone that needs a good adventure, or those ghost hunters among us. Never know what you may find here. Now given I would rather you lovely people go to these beautiful sims to find the background decorations i'm not going to add that information this time :D I love you guys but these places are beautiful and so much fun to explore get out there and make the best out of your SL day. As for what i'm wearing you can barely see it. But if you would like to know anything about my outfit just give me a shout ill be more then happy to help :D. But for today's blog just enjoy the story and photograph. Then head off on your own adventure.♥
