Nalha's parents were just your average loving parents. Her father was the owner of the local pet clinic. Where he had met her mother long ago. Her mother had just graduated from Hogwarts. She was on vacation in Yorkshire when her owl suddenly took ill. Frantic she took her to the nearest pet clinic where she had met Nalha's father who quickly rushed to her aid. Taking back her owl and treating it. As the owl recovered her father had asked her mother on a date. Their love bloomed. A few months later her mother moved to Yorkshire and a year later they wed. And shortly after that Nalha's story begins.

Growing up in Yorkshire was simple and quiet. Other then the sounds of the animals from the clinic and the many pets they had. Nalha's day started out with her morning chores around the clinic making sure the animals were fed and watered. The floors were clean and her parents had everything they needed. After her chores were done she was free to do what she wanted. Most times she would explore, or finding a quiet spot to read. Sometimes she would pretend she had magical powers like those of the characters in the books she read. One day while waiting for her parents to finish close up the clinic for the night she was playing in one of the exam rooms. She was pretending she could make the books float around the room. When suddenly the books fly off the desk and into the air. Confused she screamed for her mother, "MOOOOM" she screams. Her mother comes running into the room. As her mother flings open the door the books all fall to the floor. Her mother looks behind her looking for her father closing the door behind her. "were the books flying?" she asked calmly. Nalha just nodded her head. Her mother smiles softly and sat in the chair "I think we all need to sit and talk when we get home" she says. Nalha was confused but picked up the books and waited for her parents to finish their tasks.

Once home her mother asked for Nalha and her father to take a seat. She then began to tell tales of her days at Hogwarts, her past her being a witch and Nalha's new found magic. She told Nalha that soon an owl would bring her a letter and she was right a few days after finding out all the news an owl brought her a letter saying she had been accepted in Hogwarts. And thus a new adventure began.
